Latch On America Comes to Austin (Zilker Park)

Milk for Thought will be stoping in Austin with their big pink bus on their nationwide tour highlighting groups that are enacting Surgeon General’s call to action in supporting breastfeeding.  They will stop in Austin on August 18th and we would like to invite you to our community event to show your support for breastfeeding families and perhaps be in their documentary.  Many birthing and breastfeeding resources will be there so come on out for the celebration. 

If you weren’t able to make it out for the art show we will have calendars featuring the artwork and t shirts available.

Wow, we’ve had a crazy World Breastfeeding Month!

Not only did we pull together a fantastic art show but we have received national recognition with the Latch on America bus coming to Austin.  Please join us for a meeting to reflect on our successes as well as planning for the future.  If you donated anything for the show you can pick it up at the meeting (minus a few christmas lights that were lost in the fire.  Yes, there was a fire at the pump project that we had to contend with as well as the broken AC!)
